What Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for a Database Administrator I. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Sound proficiency with MongoDB on the Linux platform.
  • Skilled in MongoDB data modeling, administration and troubleshooting.
  • Exposer to MongoDB query tuning, Index optimizations and performance optimizations.
  • Experienced in replication, sharding, migration and up-gradation of MongoDB.
  • Experience using MongoDB Cloud Manager.
  • Develop strategies to manage, test database backup & recovery solutions, verifying data integrity.
  • Mentors database and development teams on database best practices.
  • Basic understanding of other NoSQL databases such as Druid, ElastiCache/Redis, etc.
  • High-level understanding of backup and recovery, performance tuning, and high-availability solutions.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks within a dynamic work environment.

Primary Skills:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience working in startups, e-commerce, IT, or consulting organizations
  • Hands on experience in MongoDB administration
  • Strong Knowledge of Cloud-Computing platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
  • Knowledge of any other NoSQL database like Redis or Elastic search is preferable
  • Good communication skills
